ORGANIZATION:
A PRIMER FOR PRO BONO ATTORNEYS
Come join us for a course that will provide
detailed information about the legal issues
faced by small nonprofits that are taxexempt
under Section 501(c)(3). It will cover
the requirements of the Internal Revenue
Code, as well as provide practical advice
on the challenges facing smaller nonprofits.
This course is designed for pro bono
attorneys that do not represent taxexempt
organizations as part of their regular
practice.

The presenter is Regina Hopkins, Assistant Director
of the DC Bar Pro Bono Program responsible
for the Community Economic Development
Project. The CED Project provides training and
assistance to over 1,500 nonprofits and small
business each year.
