Description: Attend this class to master the practical skills you need to make the privilege log process for large electronic document production cases run smoothly and efficiently. Faculty panelists will discuss best practices and provide examples. You will learn to avoid common pitfalls that can turn the process into a logistical nightmare. This class also will focus on navigating issues unique to privilege logs in the digital age, including the proper treatment of e-mail chains and attachments. Our panelists will show you how to leverage the combined efforts of team members while minimizing problems that commonly arise when a privilege log project is divided among multiple attorneys. Practitioners interested in learning how to draft privilege logs in an efficient, cost-effective manner should attend this class. The course is ideal for attorneys who have little experience with drafting privilege logs (especially logs involving a large number of electronic documents). It also will be useful to more experienced attorneys seeking practical tips for improving the process, or for supervising or coordinating a privilege log project.
