Part 1: Bank Supervision, Closings, Receiverships and Enforcement (January 10)
This session will begin with an examination of the grounds and procedures for closing a bank or savings association. The class also will introduce the laws and procedures governing receiverships. Our expert faculty will then provide a short, practical introduction to bank supervision including issues such as bank reporting and the examination process. The session also will cover Bank Secrecy Act basics. The class will conclude with an overview of enforcement laws and procedures applicable to depository institutions and “institution-affiliated parties.”
