Description: This course is designed to provide the trusts and estates practitioner with a practical update on estates and trusts developments in the District of Columbia such as recent court decisions, legislative developments, and changes to court rules. Issues to be discussed include court-approved fees for fiduciaries and attorneys, enforceability of premarital agreements, fraudulent “Petitions for Probate” and the relief granted, and testamentary capacity adjudications.
