The DVDs, which are geared toward internal firm or agency training and self-study, feature the faculty members who offered the training sessions in October 2006.
There are four DVDs in all, with each focusing on a different audience:
- Attorneys in large or midsize firms, including larger in-house law departments;
- Solo and small-firm attorneys, including smaller in-house law departments;
- Government attorneys, including prosecutors and government practice attorneys; and
- Criminal defense lawyers or attorneys with a criminal law practice.
Each disk varies in format, from a basic presentation of the rules changes to concurrent PowerPoint slide presentations. The solo and small-firm disk has an additional feature. The faculty developed follow-up slides with answers to questions that arose during the live course presentation.
Each DVD costs $15 and may be purchased by order form. The form may be faxed to the CLE Office with Visa or MasterCard information, or mailed with a check.
Bar members should keep in mind that these professionally recorded training sessions will soon be available free of charge on the Bar’s Web site. Deployment of this program has been delayed but is now planned to debut during the summer of 2007.

Rules of Professional Conduct (the “beige book” referred to in the DVDs) and a copy of the report of the Rules of Professional Conduct Review Committee—including most, but not all, of the changes accepted by the D.C.
