Scheduling Content to be Regenerated

As mentioned above, one option for making a dynamic page static is to force the page to static and set a refresh interval in which CommonSpot will periodically generate static content.

  1. While viewing a page in author mode, from the Properties menu, choose Cache/Static Settings to display the Static Settings dialog. From the Cache Dynamic Content dropdown, choose Custom Settings for this Page.

Selecting this option displays fields for setting the interval for caching dynamic content.

  1. Pick from the dropdown and enter a value in the Keep cache for field.  Optionally set stale cache handling options.
