Page Output Types and Extensions

If you are using different extensions for CommonSpot pages and you include additional code for other technologies (ASP, PHP etc…), some additional settings in the Page Output Types and Extensions section of the Administrator are required. If you generate Static Content, the Add/Edit Extension dialog looks like this:

CommonSpot will ignore all files with this extension unless the file exists in a directory specified in the Directories section. If you have files with other extensions that you use in a Custom Script Element, you will need to register the directories for those custom scripts so that CommonSpot properly moves the files from the dynamic directory to the static. Clicking Click to select directories brings up the following dialog:

This dialog will allow you to multiple select (Ctrl+Mouse Click) directories containing the custom script elements with the extension you are registering. This step is essential for using files with extensions other than .cfm.
