Normal Content Contribution

During the normal everyday process of content creation and management your static site generation process may require Static Content to be regenerated. For instance, removing a dynamic content element from a template would not only cause the regeneration of all pages derived from the template, but might also change their current state (Static vs. Dynamic), causing the additional regeneration of all linking pages. CommonSpot makes specific tools available in the Site Administrator to help you monitor the current “State” of your Static Site.

Note: Changes to base templates, custom script elements, and render handlers are not considered ‘’ content contribution and are not automatically detected. The ‘Rebuild Static Pages’ process must be manually initiated to propagate the results of these or other code changes to the static sites.
