Import Job Definition

Access this dialog from Scheduled Job Definitions to view or modify existing XML job definitions or to create new ones. See Creating Scheduled Jobs for more information.

Job definitions are XML documents defined with controls for displaying job options. The job defined above displays as shown in the Scheduled Job Properties dialog.

Entering XML in this dialog and clicking Save uploads the job definition in CommonSpot, which takes care of all of the details of inserting the job in the ColdFusion scheduler and maintaining changes.

The job becomes available for management through the CommonSpot interface for Site, Server, or Customer Scheduled Jobs.
