Generating Content on an Authoring Server

If you wish to generate static content for a given site, you are minimally required to “enable” Static Content Generation on the authoring server. You may additionally “enable” static content generation on one or more replication target servers.

Enabling static content generation on the authoring server requires you to specify the following URLs. Our example site uses the following entries:

Since static and dynamic content are served from the authoring server, the Public Static URL must resolve to c:/web/static_content/ on your web server.
