Change Collection

Use this dialog to change the collection under which subsite members are indexed. Access this dialog by selecting subsites and clicking change members the Collection Members dialog.

 

This dialog lists subsites that are not already members of the selected search collection.

Pick an existing search collection from the Collection dropdown, or click New to create a new search collection.

You must reindex to complete the change. Reindex Action displays the following options:

Reindex in foreground creates the collection, runs reindexing and reports status.

Reindex in background starts the reindex as a background job. You can view status as a running job.

Manually reindex. Adds keywords to the collection, but does not reindex the collection. You need to manually reindex through Manage Search Collections or at the subsite level.

Click Save to submit the Change and the Reindex request or Cancel to exit without changing.
