Q: Can I talk to someone before I register? I've looked at the website, but I have unanswered questions about the series.

Q: Do I have to attend the program on January 27 before I can attend the six session Emotional Intelligence course?
A: Yes. Registration for the six-part course will be given preferentially to those who attend the Build Your EQ 2017: Emotional Intelligence for Lawyers Seminar.

Q: Do I have to attend all six sessions of the series?
The series is designed for attendees to obtain the most benefit by attending the six sessions. Missing more than one session is not recommended.

Q: Is the assessment process confidential?
A: Yes, attendees will complete the assessment process in a confidential process and have a private conversation about the results of the assessment with a lawyer or counselor certified in the assessment process.Nothing about an individual assessment will be public.

Q: Will the series be recorded or broadcast?
A: No.

Q: How do I register for the series?
A: Registration for the series, will be open in early February 2017. Sessions will start in March.

Q: What will the sessions be like? Are they lectures?
A: No, the sessions are not lectures. Each session will have a leader, some discussion, and exercises with an emphasis on engagement and experience rather than sedentary listening.

Q: How many people can attend? Where will the series occur?
A: The series is limited to the first 30 persons to register. All sessions will be held at the D.C. Bar headquarters at 1101 K Street NW, Washington, D.C.
