D.C. Court of Appeals Seeks Candidates for Committee on Unauthorized Practice of Law Vacancy

D.C. Court of AppealsThe District of Columbia Court of Appeals is seeking applications to fill vacancies on its Committee on Unauthorized Practice of Law (CUPL). The CUPL is charged with enforcing the Court’s Rule 49 concerning unauthorized practice, and with issuing opinions interpreting Rule 49. CUPL Members conduct investigations and participate in compliance decisions. Members must belong to the D.C. Bar, and are appointed to three-year terms, which can be renewed. The CUPL ordinarily meets on the second Thursday of each month from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.

Individuals who wish to be considered should send a résumé and cover letter to the address below by Friday, January 6, 2018.
