2016 Capital Pro Bono Honor Roll Deadline Extended
February 16, 2017
The deadline for the annual Capital Pro Bono Honor Roll has been extended to March 1.
Supported by the D.C. Bar Pro Bono Center and the D.C. Access to Justice Commission, the Capital Pro Bono Honor Roll pays tribute to the thousands of D.C. Bar members and attorneys practicing under D.C. Court of Appeals Rule 49, who provide desperately needed free legal services to those living in poverty and/or to the small disadvantaged businesses and community-based nonprofits that are critical to the economic well-being of our community.
To register for the Honor Roll, attorneys must simply submit a declaration indicating that they have provided 50 hours of pro bono work or more—or 100 hours or more for the High Honor Roll—in 2016. Attorneys may submit applications online at www.CapitalProBono.net.
Bulk applications may be submitted by office administrators, and directions for doing so are on the website. Participating attorneys will be recognized on the Courts’ website and elsewhere.
Submissions are due by March 1, 2017.
