Comment on the Two Candidates for Superior Court Chief Judge

The D.C. Judicial Nomination Commission invites comments from the bench, bar, and public regarding the qualifications of the two candidates for chief judge of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia created by the departure of Judge Anita Josey-Herring this fall. The candidates, Judge Marisa J. Demeo and Judge Milton C. Lee Jr., have submitted statements of interest that are available on the commission’s website.

Comments may be submitted via an online survey, by paper copy of the survey available on the commission’s website, or by submitting a letter. Letters and hard copies should be sent to the JNC by mail at 515 5th Street, NW, Suite 235, Washington, DC 20001 or email to [email protected]. All comments must be received by 5 p.m. on June 20.
